Skateboarder Chris Hallam, originally hailing from Horsham in country Victoria, has been a friend and colleague for years, travelling Australia together, putting on Skate/BMX events around the Vic. Last year, whilst Nothing's Wrong road tripped Germany (as seen in 'The Technophobia Issue' mag and video) we met up with Chris in Berlin and cruised the streets together over the course of a few days. Chris is an avid documentarian, creating some killer raw Melbourne based skate vids in his time (see the video below: Dreamy Cosimic Italo Post Disco Synthpop). In the time we rolled together he captured a nice synopsis of an average Berlin summer day for us. Behind the scenes, here's to the good times. Photos: Christopher Hallam. Words: Greg Barnes

Rare gems. Quick flick from a heavy session at Melbourne's Northcote bowl yesterday. British import Nathan Goring with a boned out Griz air. We witnessed more Griz's in one day than all year. Mint. Photo: Barnes
Benny 'Savage' Phillips, whom we featured on the cover of Issue 5 'The War Issue', has been continuing to churn out an amazing amount of work in the last year. A few photos that define his state of being as a dedicated Australian artist in rural Germany.
Ah, the irony of it all! A feature length video uploaded to the internet that celebrates the release of our 7th PRINT magazine, which focuses on the subject of technophobia. Featuring an international mix section and an all Australian pool part. It's time to crawl back under a rock. Colours! The limited edition issue 7 Technophobia shirt designed by NW zine affiliate warrior art queen, Rhiannon Rackham, is available now. Visit Anchor BMX, Back Bone, Lux, Little Black Bike, Freestyle Now events or contact NW direct through this site. Each shirt comes with a magazine and sticker. Now get back under your rock you technophobe. The real Sydney pool cleaning service (AKA Benn Pigot & Trent Rowsell) at it again, riding the 'Cass' Pool like it's a perfectly formed skate park quarter. Bravo sirs. Hit the store page on this site for a magazine & an embroidered patch with either international or Australia-wide postage. Also available through Anchor BMX (VIC), Back Bone (ACT), LBB (SA), Local (WA), Lux (QLD), Riverslide Skatepark (VIC)& Freestyle Now events. We launched our 7th print publication with a bowl bash, video screening and party last Saturday at Beach Burrito in Fitzroy, Melbourne. People arrived from 5 different states around Australia to ride and witness the spectacle (W.A. Vic, QLD, Tas, S.A.). Early bird, Dave Dillewaard, jumped in the bowl and slid his pegs over the stairs to start. Notable ripping came in the form of impossibly high airs in the deep end from Cody Pollard (QLD), Beechy (VIC), Adam Hough (VIC) & Lex Dowley (VIC). Joel Ruggiero (WA) rode the bowl from start til finish and was the last man standing in the bowl as the doors were closing, he really took good advantage of his time in Melbourne. Videos were projects above the bowl, magazines distributed for free and good times ensued. This was the first time in a long while that so many influential faces from the Australian bmx scene all stood in the same room together. Thanks to everyone who came from around the country to attend. Issues of the magazine are currently making their way to legit rider run bmx stores state-wide. Hit Anchor BMX (VIC), Back Bone (ACT), LBB (SA), Local (WA), Lux (QLD), Riverslide Skatepark (VIC) or the store page on this site to grab a copy. New stickers for all the stick up kids. Available at our launch on the 24th Sept. Also through our online store with issue 7 & via all our supporting stores: Anchor (VIC), Backbone (ACT), Lux (QLD), Local (WA), LBB (SA) & Riverslide Skatepark (VIC). Beach Burrito are collaborating with Nothing's Wrong to release issue 7 of our print mag, 'The Technopobia issue'. To celebrate the occasion, for the first time ever, there will be a bmx session in their pool-esque bowl that sits neatly and tightly in the middle of the venue. A video premiere will be projected above the bowl and FREE copies of the mag will be available as well. As if that isn't enough, goodies will be hooked up courtesy of Young Henrys Brewery, Beach Burrito & Nothing's Wrong for those that drop-in (deep end) & have the best pool style. Acapulco shirts are highly recommended. We ask that peg grinders be sleeved with plastic/plastic pegs affixed/peg-less be ran & positive attitudes embraced, so that we leave only tyre marks and take only good times. Shralp for victory!
